2. Place a flat screwdriver under the metal bar and lift it up.

3. Place the wire bar on the bottom of the new space bar. Attach it to the space bar by placing it in the two plastic hooks located on either side of the space bar.
4. Set the new space bar in the same position on the keyboard with which you removed the old one. Line up the wire with the tabs appropriately.
5. Press the left and right sides of the space bar on the keyboard until you hear two clicks. This will be the keyboard wire bar, holding the space bar instead.
